1. Performance Characteristics: (1) The tamping pick uses an imported internal combustion engine as its power source, featuring a simple structure, light weight, and easy operation. The entire frame is made of aluminum alloy, generating significant radial vibration force through the high-speed rotation of multiple built-in eccentric blocks,
while simultaneously driving the pick head to vibrate. During operation, the pick head is inserted into the track bed ballast, forcing the stones to compact under the sleeper through vibration, completing the tamping process.
(2) The machine employs multi-stage vibration damping to isolate vibrations from the upper body of the tamping pick, reducing overall vibration and minimizing operator fatigue when holding the handles.
(3) The detachable wear-resistant pick head design allows for simple and convenient installation, as well as quick and easy replacement. The wear-resistant reinforcement ribs on the outer side of the pick head effectively enhance durability and reduce damage to the pick head body.
(4) Multiple machines can work in groups to simultaneously tamp both sides of the sleeper, improving operational efficiency.

① Structure: The ND-6.0 internal combustion tamping pick consists of an engine, clutch assembly, rubber vibration damping section, tamping pick head, vibration mechanism, and operating handles.
② Working Principle: The ND-6.0 internal combustion tamping pick operates by using a gasoline engine to rotate the clutch and transmission device, driving the eccentric blocks inside the tamping mechanism to rotate and generate high-frequency excitation force.
This causes the tamping mechanism to vibrate at high frequency. During tamping, the tamping mechanism is inserted into the ballast bed, and under strong excitation force, the ballast is compacted and arranged through vibration, achieving the goal of densifying the ballast under the sleeper and completing the tamping operation.
